2013 Tesla Model S P85

I think this may be one of the cheapest P85’s for sale in the country right now.

  • Year: 2013

One of the primary drivers of the low cost is the mileage, of course. 112k miles in 5 years amounts to around 22k miles per year. That’s quite a bit, and more mileage than we typically see on an all-electric Tesla.

I think the owner is going to find it more difficult to sell than it should be. He just hasn’t published a very good ad.

The photos are not great. The owner didn’t bother moving the car to a more photogenic location, he just snapped photos in the driveway. He didn’t go to the trouble of cleaning the car up. Although it looks reasonably clean and shiny on the outside, the interior is dusty and un-vacuumed. I see what looks like a wadded up Cheetoh bag in the right front door panel. There is enough dust accumulated on the dash display to make me wonder how someone could drive it like that.

Worst of all, there is basically no info provided in the ad text. No indication of how long he’s owned it, what kind of repair or maintenance work has been done, or what kind of work it needs.

With such a crappy ad, I wouldn’t be terribly interested in this example… but then there’s the price! Might be worth a call/email/visit.
